Follow Friday

This week's super fun Follow Friday question is:

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

I've been known to reread a book immediately after I finished it if I really liked it. Like Jellicoe Road, or Sweethearts by Sara Zarr, or Matched, or Anna and the French Kiss. Usually because I read them in a day or two, and want to go back and enjoy them for a little longer.

But the series that I could read over and over again, (and I actually own it!) is Hunger Games. I could pick up any of those books, open to a random page, read and enjoy. Especially Catching Fire. It's got suspense, political drama, crazy fashion, Finnick, and kissing. What more could you want? Whenever I'm in a reading slump that's the book I pick up.

What's your go-to book? Happy Friday!

  2. I haven't had a chance to read Catching Fire yet, but now I definitely might have to bump it up on my TBR list if it's that good. (So many awesome books, so little time!) I definitely enjoyed Matched as well - hurrah for Crossed coming out soon!

  8. Book Love 101, they really are fun books. I hope the movies do them justice!

Rywn, Catching Fire is my favorite in the series. I got to read an ARC of Crossed & didn't quite love it as much as Matched. But I hope you like it!

Jessica, even you know what's going to happen it's still a fun read. :)

  9. Heather & Elise, I'll be sure to stop by. :) If you do get around to the series I hope you like it.

Nimue, I can totally understand that. Before I owned them I read them in Spanish b/c that was the only copy available at my library & I really wanted to reread. :)

Jenni, now I'm curious what your favorite part was. I have a few favorites in that one.

  17. Hopping through. I re-read Jellicoe Road as soon as I finished it. It was amazing to realize that things I didn't get at the beginning were so meaningful looking back.

  19. Awesome choice. The Hunger Games series is really one of a kind. I'm more of a Team Peeta myself, but Finnick is a really close second =) I've also heard a lot about Jellicoe Road recently. I have to look into that because I honestly don't know much about it.

  21. I have to admit I have never actually read hunger games or catching fire because I have it on audiobook. BUT I have listened to the series at least 12 times. I love to put it on and do housework.

So yeah, pick it up at any page and start reading. One of the best series EVER!
